My Approach
My approach to therapy is humanistic and collaborative, with an investment in providing empathetic and holistic care. I highly value the strengths and knowledge that clients bring to therapy, and I enjoy collaborating with clients to determine goals and what healing and growth specifically means to each person.

Additionally, one of my priorities is creating a safe, trusting environment in the therapy space and in establishing a strong therapeutic rapport with my clients. According to research studies regarding positive therapeutic outcomes, around 70% of the overall success of clients working towards goals is based on having a strong therapeutic rapport/alliance with their therapist. Without this alliance, the therapy process can become difficult, and it is important to me to create a foundation of understanding and trust at the beginning of therapy treatment.
I consider myself to be an integrative therapist since I use multiple therapy models throughout my practice. The main models that I use with my individual clients include Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Collaborative Language Therapy, and skills from Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. I have significant knowledge and expertise in providing trauma informed care, neurodivergent affirming therapy, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy.

For seeing couples, I primarily practice from an attachment based approach that is founded on attachment theory and utilizing models and interventions from Gottman Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Therapy is a very magical and transformative process, and I am honored to a part of my client's stories and to witness their growth and healing.
